title : Recipe Analysis
Using HPB's Recipe Analysis, I analysed my Day 1's breakfast.
IngredientEnergy (kcal)Protein (g)Total Fat (g)Saturated Fat (g)Cholesterol (mg)Carbohydrate
(g)
Dietary Fibre (g)Sodium (mg)
Cabbage, Chinese, salted, raw3010N.AN.A61.01,379
Char siew38343198.114690.0714
BEEHOON, DRY, PACKAGED1,0832041.202433.861
Total (per serving)1,49564239.31462584.82,154
From this, I can deduce that my breakfast for Day 1 is not very healthy. It provides a lot of energy for the day. But it contains too much fats(and saturated fats), cholesterol, carbohydrates and sodium. Especially sodium as 2.154g of sodium is more than 3/4 of what our sodium intake should be. Thus, I know that it is not very healthy.
